Our Seamoss is 100% natural and doesn't contain any preservatives or additives. It is laid out in the sun to dry naturally and preserve all of its nutrients and other beneficial properties. Dried sea moss, when stored correctly, can last up to a year. How to prepare: Rinse a handful of Sea Moss making sure to remove any dirt, debri or other unknown agents and put in a container with enough water to cover it and soak for at least 4 hours. You can also add a squeeze of lime juice while soaking to neutralize Seamoss taste. Remove Sea Moss from water then place in a blender with just enough water to cover the Sea Moss and blend until it makes a smooth paste. Your seamoss is now ready to be used in your smoothies, tea, desserts and even face masks! Consume 2 tablespoons of your sea moss gel per day.

Do not consume more than 4 tablespoons per day. Store refrigerated in a clean glass jar covered with a piece of cheesecloth or other porous fabric for up to 3 weeks. Sea Moss is a living organism therefore it needs to be able to breathe. Covering your sea moss will cause it to go rancid. Expires 3 weeks from the date the gel is made. Anyone with an allergy to iodine should not consume this product.

Additionally, anyone suffering with hyperthyroidism should either steer clear of this product, or consume very little of it.
